On July 12, 44 children got up early, loaded up a chartered bus filled with snacks and movies and headed to Camp NEOSA (Northeast Ohio Salvation Army) in Carrollton, Ohio for a fun-filled week of swimming, canoeing, hiking, sports activities, arts and crafts and camaraderie.

Camp NEOSA, one of the many programs offered by The Salvation Army-Port Clinton Service Unit, provides an experience to help campers develop their physical, social and spiritual needs. The youths learn good health habits, have an opportunity to contribute to and receive from a group living experience and participate in activities that stimulate creativity and foster independence.

To find out more about programs offered by the local office, call Maureen Saponari at 419-732-ARMY (2769).
