Julia Borysiak, Cardinal Stritch High School
With a 4.16 GPA, Julia is ranked 7th in the Cardinal Stritch Class of 2009.  She is a member of the Spiritual Life Committee, Link Crew, the International Student Mentor Program and Student Council (Secretary).  Julia is also a Kairas Leader and is involved in the Ministry of Music at the Community of Christ Church.  Along with earning Principal’s Honors, she has been babysitting for the last 4 years.

The daughter of Steven and Tammy Borysiak, plans on attending Bowling Green State University where she will major in Early Childhood Education.

Eric Holmes, Clay High School
Eric holds a 4.321 GPA and is ranked 2nd out of 307 students in the class of 2009. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Eric also plays Varsity Football, Varsity Basketball and Varsity Track.

The son of Don and Karen Holmes, Eric plans on majoring in Engineering.

Rachel Brown, Genoa High School
With a grade point average of 3.62, Rachel ranks 14th in the class of 2009.  She is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council and the Spanish National Honor Society.  Along with being on the Varsity Golf team, Rachel is also the Secretary of her class and was voted Homecoming Queen.

The daughter of Al and Traci Brown, Rachel plans to attend a college or university to play Golf and study Pre-Med-Biology.

Katrina Ross, Gibsonburg High School
Katrina has a 3.955 GPA and is ranked 2nd out of 102 students in the Class of 2009.  She is a member of the Computer Club and plays Dartball.  She also volunteers her time to Knitting for Charity

The daughter of Danny L. Ross, Jr. and Kathy McClenathan, Katrina plans to go to Tiffin University or Bowling Green State University to pursue a career in accounting.

Joseph Moon, Lake High School
Joseph holds a 3.73 GPA and is ranked 14th out of 135 students in Lake’s Class of 2009.  He has played Basketball his whole high school career, helping with the Jr. Flyers Basketball Clinics.  Joseph is a member of the Chorale Group  (Acapella Group - one year) and is a two-year Academic Letterman.

The son of Joe and Gina, Joseph plans on attending college, but isn’t sure which college or what his major will be.

Greg Diefenthaler, Oak Harbor High School
With a 4.1 GPA, Greg has been selected as the October Student of the Month. He is ranked 1st out of 154 students in the Class of 2009.  Greg is a member of the National Honor Society (President), St. Peter Lutheran Church (Blackberry), Senior LYO, Marching Band and Wind Orchestra.  Greg has his Varsity letters in Basketball and Baseball (2nd Team All-SBC in Baseball) and is a member of the Napoleon River Bandits Baseball Team.  He is also the President of the Ottawa County Lamb Chops 4H Club.

The son of Jeaney and Gary Diefenthaler, Greg plans to attend a 4-year college, majoring in Engineering.

Victoria Krolik, Waite High School
Victoria holds a 3.61 GPA and is ranked 7th in Waite High School’s Class of 2009. She is a member of the National Honor Society (President) and the Indian 100 Leadership Club.  This Senior Class Officer (Vice-President) is also a peer mediation mentor and a member of the Varsity Volleyball team.

The daughter of Ken and Renee Krolik, Victoria plans to attend a four-year college or university to study Sports Therapy.

Tatijana Mariah Jacobson, Woodmore High School
Tatijana has a 3.607 GPA and is ranked 14th out of 86 students in the class of 2009.  She is a member of the National Honor Society (Public Relations Director), Key Club (President) and the Solomon Lutheran Youth Organization.  Along with being on the Yearbook Staff, Tatijana is on the Varsity Cross Country team, the Varsity Track and Field team and plays Basketball.
   
The daughter of Anders and Cori Jacobson, Tatijana plans to attend a four-year college, but is undecided regarding the college of her choice or her major.
