One of the best kept secrets in northwest Ohio is the ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES program at the University of Findlay.

Twelve students from the Gifted & Talented Department at Clay High School went to the University of Findlay to explore the environmental studies and safety program.  The day was hosted by Dr. Tim Murphy. 

Clay students experienced hands-on opportunities to suit up and actually work at two different mock hazardous sites. 

The students were given an abundance of information about the many types of careers, pay scale, and job availability, in the environmental field.   After a morning of working in the field, Students  enjoyed a tour of the University of Findlay campus was given as well as a session with the admissions counselor.



Based on the current refugee vetting process, should the U.S. suspend the program allowing Syrian and Iraqi refugees into the country?
