Eisenhower student wins computer in writing contest
Mia Mottmiller, a seventh-grader in Mrs. Bing’s language arts class at Eisenhower Middle School, won a writing contest sponsored by the Kroger Company during Black History Month.
Mottmiller’s entry was a poem entitled, “I’m A Proud Black American Women,” written from Rosa Park’s point of view. Mia won a laptop computer presented to her at a luncheon in Columbus on March 14 by Archie Griffin, president of The Ohio State University Alumni Association.
