Cody Ormsby sizes up the slithery friend that accompanied Wood County Park District representative Debbie  Nofzinger on her recent visit to the STARS site at Lark Elementary School in Northwood. STARS is an enrichment program for students in K-5, offered through the Community Learning Centers of Wood County. It is offered before and after school, as well as throughout the summer. Special activities include health and safety awareness, computer programs such as Success Maker, cultural enrichment and literacy development.
