Jordan Cantrell, of Gibsonburg, received the Robert D. and Marjorie Ingmand and E. Kilhefner endowed scholarships at Ashland University. He is majoring in political science.
Hallie Dahlhofer, of Oak Harbor, received the Paul Barnes Metzler endowed scholarship at Ashland. She is majoring in commercial art.
More than 350 scholarships donated by alumni and friends of the University were recognized at this year’s luncheon, held April 13.
Kelsey Giesler, of Elmore, and Amy Shearon, of Oak Harbor, have been awarded The Charles F. Brush III College Scholarship from Brush Engineered Materials Inc.
Kelsey’s father is a 29-year employee of the company’s Elmore plant. She has been accepted to Ohio Northern University. She plans to study public relations.
Amy’s mother is a 23-year employee of the company’s Elmore plant. She has been accepted to Case Western Reserve – Francis Payne Bolton School of Nursing, the Ohio State University and the University of Toledo – all for nursing programs.
