East Toledo has something to brag about..

Through the efforts of representatives of the East Toledo Junior Football League, Waite High School, LISC, Poggemeyer, Maumee Bay Turf, Lathrop Corporation and the East Toledo Family Center, and many other individuals, supporters and donors our grant application has been selected by the Cleveland Browns as part of their GrassRoots NFL Program. Mollenkoph Stadium field will receive a new upgrade as a result of the$ 100,000 matching grant from the Browns. Cooperation like this is what makes it work.
Additional thanks go to the people who have, for the last 63 years dedicated their time and energies to promote the informal education of east Toledo youngsters through the East Toledo Junior Football League. These dedicated individuals teach our kids lifetime skills that they will build on their entire lives. Through this informal educational opportunity, participants learn things like self-confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline while building a positive image of themselves. Social skills grow participants learn to make new friends, how to become leaders and the value of teamwork. They develop cognitively, learning to make the right choices when dealing with success and failure; they develop improved motor skills, endurance and even learn a little bit about the game of football. All while having "fun".
So nice to see that someone has noticed. GO BROWNS!

Do you think the Ohio law banning teens under 18 from using any electronic devices while driving is too harsh?
