Luncheon/Speaker for January:

January 21st Join us for lunch at the Locke Branch Library & hear about the latest library updates. We will be having boxed lunches so please RSVP by January 19th to reserve your spot! Mark Heenan, D.M.D, will be sponsoring this lunch.

February 18th We will have a guest speaker from BlockWatch with updates from the East Toledo Neighborhoods. Watch the February edition for the location of this luncheon. The East Toledo Family Center will be sponsoring this lunch.

Board Members:

It’s a SNOW PARTY!!
Come out and mingle with your fellow club members!!! Abigail & Michael Gerber have graciously opened their home, 6556 Brown Road, for the evening of Saturday, January 23rd. The party starts at 6:00pm with a full dinner being served at 6:30.
Drinks, desserts and a fun time will also be provided!!!

A gift exchange (not a white elephant gift) will be held and is optional for each person that attends. Gifts should be in the $10 range and must be wrapped.

$10 per person will be the cost to cover the expenses.

The Board would like to thank all of our members that have donated to the Waite High School Food Basket Drive. Due to your generosity we were able to donate $250 to local families in need of a helping hand this holiday season. Your kindness continues to show what a dedicated and committed group of people belong to the East Toledo Club.

Thank you to all members that generously donated their time during the month of December. Whether it was with the Old Newsboys, the Salvation Army Drive, or helping at the Holiday Parade, we thank you for your time and support to make each of the activities a success.

A reminder of our cancellation policy for bad weather conditions: if the Toledo Public Schools cancel due to weather, the East Toledo Club will cancel it’s activity as well.

November 19th Luncheon: Please plan on joining us at Packo’s at the Park for a luncheon with Toledo Walleye Hockey Coach, Nick Vitucci. Vitucci was head coach of the Toledo Storm from 2003-07 and was named ECHL Coach of the Year in 2004-05. When you arrive at Packo’s (the one across from the 5/3 Baseball Field), order your lunch & then join us in the back of the restaurant in their private room.

Welcome Back!!

Luncheon Speakers & Events for September

September 17, 2009 East Side Authors, hosted by Larry Michaels. Lunch will be held at the Flaming BBQ Pit located at the Dock’s, the cost is still $9.00 per person.

September 18, 2009 It’s football season and we are kicking off our year by tailgating at the Clay vs. Waite football game!! We will have dinner, dessert, & soft drinks available for those attending. Food will be served starting at 5:30pm & kickoff is at 7pm. When you arrive at the stadium, enter through the East gate (by the practice field). The cost will be $5.00 per person; families are welcome.

Board Meetings

All Board Meetings are on the first Friday of each month. The meetings will be held at
