Dare to Live without Limits
Have you ever been frustrated because you felt something you really need is lacking. Perhaps you have thought, "If only I had ____" where the blank is filled in with money, experience, knowledge, contacts, skill, time, etc., etc., etc.
Concentrating on things that don’t exist is a self-defeating strategy. When doing so, the only accomplishment is justifying why you are not succeeding with a litany of excuses. What you don't have doesn't matter. It's how effectively you utilize what you do have which determines your level of success.
So take inventory of everything you do have right now. This includes all of your strengths. There is no strength which is too small or insignificant to be helpful. You have more going for you than you realize.
“The answer was right there in front of me the whole time!” is something we have all said ourselves and heard from others. You don’t see it sooner because of the tendency to doubt the existence of obvious solutions.
Life is filled with questions, problems, obstacles, and challenges. Searching for answers can easily be frustrating and overwhelming. We gravitate toward elaborate solutions.
People use many strategies in their quest for answers. One approach is constantly moving from one place to another. The objective is to escape from problems for which we think there is no easy solution.
A life without mistakes is a life without learning. You learn more from situations which don't work out as planned than you do when everything turns out as expected.
Nothing is a waste. Every experience is a learning opportunity. Lamenting the past by wallowing in what you should have, could have, or would have done, is a colossal waste of time and energy. The two important things to learn from the past are what to avoid along with what to repeat. Some people take the exact opposite approach. They repeat that which didn't produce desired results while ignoring those actions which succeeded. This is a faulty strategy resulting in constant frustration.
