Birmingham Hall of Fame awards scholarships

The Birmingham Hall of Fame held its 32nd Annual Inductee and Scholarship Banquet Oct. 19 at St. Stephen's School Hall in East Toledo. Eleven inductees and 19 scholarship winners were honored.

The honorees at this year’s banquet, who received $1,000 scholarships, included:
 • Rex Powers III, Ken and Janet Szolosi Scholarship.
 • Elizabeth Dumas, Midwest Terminals Scholarship.
 • Jordan Kovacs, Northwestern Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council Scholarship.

 • Sarah Kamelesky, University of Toledo/Business/Birmingham Ethnic Festival Scholarship.
 • Logan Wolf, Slivinski Family Scholarship.
 • Danielle Lakin, Tony Packo’s Scholarship.
 • Zachary Niehaus, 5/3 Bank Scholarship.
 • Justin Fodor, Birmingham Ethnic Festival Scholarship.
 • Jessica Cantrell, Andy and Steve Walko Scholarship.
 • Nicholas Tammerine, Scholarship in Memory of Bill Nyers Jr.
 • Mary Toth, Brenton Webb, Jacob Jude, Hailey Kuzma, Riley Toth, Alison Zsigray, Kelsey Kovacs, Anthony Dumas and Danielle Leffler, Kinsey Determination Scholarship.

Graduates
Davis College:  Stephanie Jackson, of Toledo; Michele Meagher, of Oregon.
