School supply drive set in Genoa

Keeping It Local NWO, in collaboration with Coupons For Christ, are holding a school supply drop- off event and coupon class at Latte'da, 624 Main St. in Genoa Saturday, Aug. 21 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Jen Myers from Coupons for Christ will be holding an extreme coupon class starting at 9 a.m. Admission is free but she asks for a donation to the supply drive. Come in and learn the secrets of couponing or just to have a latte and drop off an item for a child.

Among the items being sough are items that appear on Genoa's school supply lists, along with new book bags and lunch boxes.

School supply items include:

• Backpack large enough to hold a folder filled with daily projects
• Box of (24) Crayola crayons
• Bottles of 4 oz Elmer’s white glue (orange and blue label)
• Box of Crayola washable markers, broad tip, primary colors

• Elmer's glue sticks
• Mead #2 yellow pencils
• Quart size Zip-lock bags
• Gallon size Zip-lock bag
• Paint shirt 
• Box of tissues (200 ct)
• Containers of baby wipes
• Roll of paper towels
• Bottle of hand sanitizer
• Expo2 dry erase markers – fine tip – four pack – assorted colors
• Fiskars scissors – pointed
• Eight count Crayola Crayons
• Elmer's glue – 8oz.white
• School box (8.25”x5.25”x2.5”)
• Sharp pair (Fiskar’s Brand) scissors-pointed
• Expo 2 low-odor dry erase markers – black
• Folders (9 ½ X 11 ½)
• Supply box (8.25”x5.25”x2.5”)
• Large pink pencil erasers
• Regular large eraser
• Dry erase markers FINE TIP
• Box quart size zip-lock bags
• Enclosed pencil/crayon sharpener
