Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two has announced the following update to the bridge repair on the I-75 Disalle Bridge project.
I-75 in both directions, from Wales Road to Erie Street, is reduced to two lanes for bridge repair. Through October, motorists should be advised of the following traffic shift in this zone: one lane of southbound traffic will be maintained in the current southbound left shoulder, and one lane of southbound traffic is maintained in the current northbound left lane. Northbound and southbound traffic is separated by a median. Northbound traffic uses the two northbound right lanes.
Through October, the following ramps are closed:
• Ramp from Wales Road to northbound I-75. Detour: southbound I-75; Buck Road; northbound I-75. • Ramp from westbound Miami Street (SR 65) to northbound I-75. Detour: Oregon Road; SR 795; I-75. • Ramp from eastbound Miami Street (SR 65) to northbound I-75. Detour: Oregon Road; SR 795; I-75. • Ramp from South Avenue to southbound I-75. Detour: northbound I-75; Collingwood Boulevard (Exit 201A); southbound I-75. • Ramp from Miami Street (SR 65) to southbound I-75. Detour: Oregon Road; Wales Road; I-75 • Ramp from southbound I-75 to westbound Miami Street (Exit 199B). Detour: Buck Road; northbound I-75. • Ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound Miami Street (Exit 199A). Detour: Buck Road; northbound I-75.
Through Friday, Aug. 6 from 8 p.m. through 6 a.m. overnight, southbound I-75 may be reduced to one lane for bridge deck pours.
Project complete: October 2010. All work is weather permitting.
