Yeeha’s Bucking Bar & Grill in Oregon will host a benefit concert to raise funds for those affected by the recent tornadoes June 19 from 1 to 9 p.m. in the parking lot at 3150 Navarre Ave. (Holiday Inn Plaza).
The concert, being planned in conjunction with the City of Oregon, will include seven bands. The event will include beer and concession sales.
“We asked some of our bands and equipment companies if they had any interest in donating time or equipment to put an event like this together, and without surprise, everyone asked volunteered their professional services at no cost to participate in the event,” said Robert Johnson, Yeeha’s proprietor. “Immediately, we spoke with Mayor Mike Seferian and Ohio Department of Liquor Control to see how quickly we could coordinate an event of this magnitude.
“Both the city and Department of Liquor Control were compassionately willing to help put it together,” Johnson said.
All proceeds raised will be directed to a newly formed non-profit organization, NW Ohio Tornado Victims Association.
