Future Wave Salon in Oregon is collecting donations for local families devastated by the recent tornadoes.

Gift cards, cash, non-perishable food items, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc., may be dropped off at the salon, located at 3324 Navarre Ave. all week.

In addition, the salon is collected denim items as part of local youth "Eco" Erek Hansen's drive. Denim collected will be recycled into UltraTouch Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation which will be donated to communities affected by natural disasters. It takes approximately 500 denim items to insulate one average size home.

For more information, call the salon at 419-698-9283.
