President Obama saddend by loss of life after tornado

In a call to Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, President Barack Obama said he and Michelle were very sorry to hear about the loss of life and expressed his concern for the people of Ohio.

The two spoke about the fact that it will take time until we know the full extent of the damage and that FEMA would begin to conduct preliminary damage assessments tomorrow.

The President assured Gov. Strickland that the federal government would provide a quick turn-around for any requests for assistance if needed.”
