Several students at Terra Community College are organizing a concert to benefit the earthquake victims in Haiti and Chile.

"For the People" will be held March 25 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Student Activities Center.

The concert was originated by Matthew Kirsch, of Fremont, a music business major, and was organized by a number of students in Terra’s music program and others from the area.

Donations can be made at the door with proceeds going to assist health organizations providing relief in the devastation areas.

The concert will feature:

• Rapper Terrill Martin will perform "Struggle" which also features Travis Jones. Jones and Martin will be singing several other selections as well as Holly Kirchenbauer (music performance major) and Chelsea Wellman (music education major).

• Matthew Bachelder (music business major) and Ellen Foos (music education major) will perform several cover songs.

•The Terra Jazz Combo will also perform.
