The Wood County Historical Center and Museum and the 14th Ohio Volunteer Infantry will host a Civil War encampment March 26 on the grounds of the museum, 13660 County Home Rd., Bowling Green.
Soldiers will be camping on the museum grounds demonstrating what military and civilian life was like in the 1860s. Soldiers will begin drilling at 9:30 a.m. A battle demonstration will be held at 3:45 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. The museum will be closed, but the park will be open. For more information, call Michael McMaster at 419-352-0967.
