The Aurora Project, through a grant from the Toledo Rotary, will be remodeling their kitchen Dec. 4-7.
During that time, the 13 residents and their children at the Aurora House will have dinner provided to them by Sonic, America’s Drive-In.
“Sonic has been well received in Greater Toledo and this is just one way we can give back to the community that supports us”, said Kevin Lent of Fresh Creations, LLC, franchisee of the Sonic Drive-Ins in Perrysburg, Oregon and Bryan. “We know that times are tougher this year and wanted to help some of those in need.”
Aurora Project, Inc. is a comprehensive housing and life skills program that empowers homeless women and their children to achieve self sufficiency and independence by providing resources and skills in a supportive and safe environment.
