Hometown holiday hospitality will prevail as Pemberville hosts its annual Christmas in the Village Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The celebration will include: • Once again, Pemberville’s Opera House will be the setting for annual Festival of Trees, which this year, is themed “Christmas Across America…From Sea to Shining Sea.” Decorators have adorned 14 trees, which will fill the house with color, while local musicians will fill the air with holiday tunes on the piano, dulcimer and bells. Among the scheduled performers are The Brick Street Strummers, Bethlehem Lutheran Church Bell Choir and Back Porch Dulcimers, along with a number of individual pianists. Admission is $5 per person, with proceeds benefitting the Pemberville-Freedom Area Historical Society. Tickets, which are available at the door, include complimentary refreshments, the chance to “vote” for your favorite tree and an entry into a drawing for Opera House season tickets.
