The restorers group, along with co-sponsor Sandusky County Park District and host Buckeye Allis Club, Inc., will hold the 21st annual Antique Tractor & Engine Show Sept. 5-7 at White Star Park, located a mile south of Gibsonburg. (From Gibsonburg, take S.R. 300 south to east on U.S. 6 and then north on Twp. Road 60 to the park entrance.)
Admission is $3 per day with free parking and a lot shuttle to bring guest to the show, where they will see antique tractors, cars and trucks, an antique tractor pull, adult and kid pedal tractor pulls, wheat threshing, a kiddie railroad ride, horse plowing, parades of equipment, stationary baling, corn shredding, catsup making, quilting, blacksmithing, rope-making and other demonstrations.
In addition, there will be food (including kettle corn), country music (including a banjo and fiddle contest), quilting, a flea market, crafts and more. A Sunday church service will be offered at 9 a.m. Sept. 6 and a consignment auction beginning at 9:57 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7 (Labor Day). Consignments will be accepted through Saturday, Sept. 5.
