Rummage Sale A Rummage Sale will be held Sept. 4 and 5 at New Life Assembly of God, 3230 Dustin Rd., Oregon. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
A variety of miscellaneous items will be available. Hot dogs and baked goods will also be available for purchase.
Tournament set The 27th Annual Summers End/Better Hiser Memorial Co-Ed Softball Tournament will be held Sept. 5and 6 at Williams Park in Gibsonburg.
There is a $130 entry fee, which includes an umpire fee. Drawing Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. at Williams Park. For more information, call Mike and Sarah Jividen at 419-637-7989 or 567-201-8035.
Proceeds will benefit Gibsonburg Volunteer Fire Department softball team.
Fun at the Fountain The Rossford Business Association (RBA) will host the third annual Fun at the Fountain Sept. 5 from 6–11:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the Rossford city municipal building, 133 Osborn St., between the fire station and the library.
The event will be part of Rossford Hometown Celebration activities held throughout the entire day across the city, including a boat parade, fireworks and numerous outdoor/indoor tournaments hosted by the Rossford Community Recreation Center.
The 21-and-over Fun at the Fountain event will feature live music by The Rake Shakers, a beer garden, 50/50 raffle and food by Bad Bob’s BBQ and Marco’s Pizza.
Proceeds from the $1 admission fee for Fun at the Fountain will go to the annual RBA scholarships awarded to local high school students.
Parking is available at the main Rossford High School parking lot across the street. A shuttle service will be provided compliments of the Rossford Community Recreation Center.
