For the Love of Art continues

Pemberville’s For the Love of Art Show and Art Walk continues Feb. 21.
 
Local high school students and recent alumni will display their works at the Pemberville Opera House between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. More than 200 pieces from Eastwood, Lake, Woodmore and other local schools are on display.
 
In addition, village businesses will be hosting artists and offering their windows and storefronts to showcase the works of artists, who include:

• Janet Davies (watercolors),
• Wilma Ablett (mixed media),
• Kelsey Rollins (photography),
• Laurie Dembicki (knitted felt purses),
• Mike Sayen (pen art),
• Sue Stewart (acrylics),
• Pat Rollins (glass art),
• Tara Hubbard (handbag art),
• Bill Smith (photography),
• Connie Vorraber (mixed media),
• Helen Hoover (wax art),
• Steve Horne (wood intarsia),
• Debbie Walters (photography),
• Author Jim Mollenkopf,
• Author/illustrator Stacey Gabel/Richard Neuman,
• Author Larry Michaels,
• Brian Spieldenner (pen and ink),
• John Current (mixed media),
• Otterbein-Portage Valley residents (mixed media).

Participating businesses/locations include the Ford Garage Building, Union Bank, Riverbank Antiques, Coffee Gallery, Forks Restaurant, Home Town Realty, Baker Insurance, Beeker’s General Store, Medicine Shoppe, Samson & Smith Insurance and the Pemberville Town Hall. (Watch for the Funky Art Poles designating locations.)
 
In addition, elementary and preschool artwork will be on display at the Pemberville Public Library and Works of Snowman Art will be on display throughout the walk area.
 
A Coffee Gallery will be located in the heart of town, offering visitors and artists the chance to share a cup of coffee and some conversation.
 
The event is sponsored by the Pemberville Opera House and local businesses interested in supporting and promoting the arts.
