A Valentine’s Day benefit party will be held by friends of Melissa Perry to help support the Oregon woman, a single mother of three sons, who recently was diagnosed with cancer of the mouth, jaw and tongue. She never smoked.

Melissa recently endured extensive radical mouth, tongue and jaw surgery. Because she will not be able to work for quite some time, she will need financial support during this time. All funds raised will be used by Melissa as she recovers from surgery and battles this disease.

The event, which will be held at 5 p.m. at the Bayside Boardwalk on Seaman Road in Oregon, will include a silent auction, live music, 50/50 raffles, and a spaghetti supper.

Suggested donation for tickets is $10 per person. Those who are unable to attend may contact Darcy Rossi at 419-691-4535, Heidi Shank at 419-350-4578 or Kendra Contreras at 419-461-1615 to make a donation.
