Bank offering ag financing
About 70 persons attended a workshop hosted by GenoaBank to discuss wealth planning and trust services and trends in agriculture,
The bank has launched a new Enviro-Line of Credit program, which offers discounted financing to provide nutrient stewardship using conservation easements and best management practices on agricultural land.
Guest speakers included Ben Sutter, attorney for Marshall Melhorn, Aaron Moore, vice president of GenoaFinancial, David Myerholtz, 4R Advocate and farmer, Luke Sutter vice president of commercial lending, and Justin Moore, vice president, senior lender and risk management.

Contest for 4-H, FFA members
Tractor Supply Company is calling for 4-H and FFA members to participate in the retailer’s Mobile Fair Tour, a 10-stop journey across the United States. As part of the tour, local youths are encouraged to submit a photo with a 200-word description for participation.
FFA and 4-H members residing near a stop on the fair’s tour can enter the contest by submitting a photo and caption that showcases a 4-H or FFA project making a difference in the community. The Mobile Fair Tour will begin its route July 15 at the Fayette County Fair in Washington Court House, Ohio, and will end in Tyler, Texas, at the East Texas State Fair on Sept. 22.
“The ‘Great Neighbor’ Photo Contest is an interactive way for 4-H and FFA youths to share their experiences in serving their community,” says Diane Bollig, store marketing manager at Tractor Supply Co.
Winners will be presented with a commemorative plaque and Tractor Supply gift pack in appreciation of their hard work.
