State Sen. Gavarone honors Genoa High School wrestling team

On May 15, State Sen. Theresa Gavarone (R-Bowling Green) recognized the Genoa High School wrestling team for winning the OHSAA Division III State Championship.
“These young men have demonstrated what can be accomplished with hard work and perseverance,” said Gavarone. “Our entire community should be very proud of these student athletes for all they have achieved.” Gavarone also recognized Dylan D'Emilio as the Division III State Champion in the 138-pound weight class. D'Emilio is the 32nd wrestler in the history of Ohio state wrestling to win a fourth state championship. He finished with a 57-3 record.
