Ronetta J. Cronin

Ronetta J. Cronin, 64, of Woodville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born August 8, 1958, and was raised by her loving parents Elmer and Margaret (Husing) Emch. She attended Solomon Lutheran Elementary school and went on to become a member of the graduating class of 1977 at Woodmore High School. She was an active member of Vo-Ag, talented majorette and played the clarinet in the band. Ronetta was crowned the Fireman Queen in 1977. She then went on to graduate from Stautzenberger with a associates degree in healthcare and computer science.

Ronetta helped on the family farm her whole life and worked at Tri-State Expedited where she retired after 15 plus years of service. Her love for the outdoors led to a hobby of vegetable gardening, in which she could often be found tending to her plants accompanied by her beloved canine “gurls” Sasha and Julie, and the flock of chickens she raised. Ronetta also enjoyed cooking, and canning and won several ribbons at local fairs with entries grown from her own garden.

Ronetta enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always the life of the party with her contagious smile and love for dancing. The brightest light of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren that brought her the most joy of all. She traveled to sporting events, athletic and academic awards, livestock shows, and any activity involving her grandchildren. Mawmaw was always their biggest fan.

Ronetta is survived by her daughters: Tanya (Zach) Pickerel of Gibsonburg, Danyell (Craig) Rothenbuhler of Woodville, and son Mikell. Grandchildren: Jordan, Skyler and Addyson Turner, Hadyn and Kolt Pickerel. Sister, Grace (George) Moore of NC, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her canine “gurls” Sasha and Julie. She was preceded in death by her parents and canine “gurl” Diamond.

Family and friends will be received 4-7 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2022 at Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 201 West Main Woodville, OH.
