Martin Glenn "Marty" Cedoz

Martin Glenn “Marty” Cedoz has gone to hunt and fish the grounds of heaven.

Marty said “I have had a Wonderful Life”. On Saturday, March 11, 2023, Marty passed away in the presence of his loving family. From the time Marty was diagnosed with mouth cancer in August of 2021 until his last breath, he lived life as it was meant to be lived. Marty was Operations Manager for the Toledo Branch of Guardian Alarm where he has been employed for 43 years. He loved his Guardian family and was grateful for every opportunity they provided him.

“LIFE’S TOO SHORT” was Marty’s motto. He was ready to do anything at any time and his getaway bag was always packed. Marty was everybody’s go to guy –he made things happen and he got things done. Marty was happiest spending time with his family, and EVERYBODY was family – friend, co-worker, stranger. When Marty wasn’t working, he would be on the nearest golf course, in the woods, at the lake or at the family cabin in Pennsylvania. It just depended on the season.

Marty was born July 19, 1961 in Oregon, Ohio to Glenn Martin Cedoz and Carole Rideout Cedoz. Marty grew up in Millbury and graduated from Lake High School and Penta in 1979 where he golfed and played hockey.

Marty married the love of his life and best friend, Mary “Josie” Bosch on May 14, 1983 and they have three children, Laura Amelia Cedoz, Glenn Martin Cedoz and Alyssa Anne Cedoz. Marty will be remembered as loving and caring brother to: Jenny (Jon) Rohloff, Beth (Eric) Sheely, Susan Manning, Mike (Wendy) Cedoz, Ron (Mary) Bosch, Kathy (Dan) Barbee, John Blecke, Leeny Blecke, Dennis (Donna) Bosch, Colleen (Dave) Zatko and Raymond Bosch. To others Marty will be remembered as favorite uncle, nephew, cousin, true friend and loyal co-worker. Marty was proceeded in death by his parents, Glenn and Carole, stepfather Wayne Allen, maternal grandparents Ray and Dorothy Rideout, paternal grandparents George and Eleanor Cedoz and sister-in-law Christy Bosch.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Friday, March 24, 2023, from 2:00pm - 8:00pm.
