Healthy choices
To the editor: I am a former organic farmer and was raised in the health food industry. Consumers should try to stop eating refined sugar, corn syrup, artificial sweeteners and dyes. Instead try honey, Stevia or carob powder.
Alcohol consumption should be limited and try to stop smoking.
Increase your intake of water and consumption of organic fruits and vegetables.
Our nation’s health care cost us about $3.6 trillion in 2018. Ask not what your country should do for you, ask what you should do for your country. Let’s help our country and ourselves by getting healthy.
