Joyful Connections holds ribbon-cutting for new space
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Feb. 4 for Joyful Connections in their new space in the same location at 8200 W. SR 163, just east of Oak Harbor.
Joyful Connections provides supervised visitations and exchanges to help keep children and their families connected while preventing children from being caught in the middle of family/parental disputes.
“This space was made possible due to the many people who support our mission,” said Shanna Strouse, director. “The support from our Ottawa County Commissioners and their staff helped the vision for the new space really take shape.
“Our staff and families, along with in-kind time from county maintenance, totaled over 450 donated hours to help make the space a reality,” she said. “We are so very thankful for the encouragement we have received from the community, our donors, and our funders as well.”
Joyful Connections offers services seven days a week by appointment. For info, call Strouse at 567-262-3181.
