John was a great conversationalist and could often be found talking to some one at the Genoa Care Center, the Senior Center or anywhere for that matter! He looked forward to attending Genoa Comet sporting events, the diehard fan that he was, and rooting for his grandchildren and all of the players. He loved his family and was their “cheerleader”; being positive and motivating everyday and with everything.
John enjoyed driving around in his golfcart and could often be found giving his grandchildren and great-grandchildren rides around town. He was always enjoyed a good meal that usually included a good pot of coffee, eggs up, orange slices, hard candy, suckers and one of his favorites, chicken, shrimp, French fries all from the Keg. He especially looked forward to anything that his son Wayne cooked!
