Genoa Financial acquires Skees & Associates

GenoaFinancial, a division of GenBanc, Inc., has announced the acquisition of Skees & Associates, a second generation family-owned financial planning business established in the 1960’s.
The acquisition was finalized Dec. 7.
As part of Dan Skees’ succession plan, he looked to maintain the majority of his clients. He found that his mission and goals aligned well with GenoaFinancial.
The headquarters will remain in Genoa, with additional locations throughout Northwest Ohio.
