Fans+Fiction Fest to be held at Harris-Elmore Public Library
Lovers of books, cosplay, fandoms and food trucks won’t want to miss the Fans+Fiction Fest Saturday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Harris-Elmore Public Library.
Admission is free to the family-friendly event, which will be held at the library, 328 Toledo St., Elmore and across the street at the Elmore Community Center, 410 Clinton St.
The Fans+Fiction Festival will feature a line-up of celebrity panelists including actors Sean Faris and Jason Marsden (in person audience with a Zoom question-and-answer session) and podcaster/author Travis McElroy (in person).
Other highlights include a live action lightsaber duel demo and discussion panel by the Jedi Council of America, book sales/signings by local authors Jim Beard and Laurence St. John, cosplay interactions with the Black Swamp Ghostbusters, cosplay contest for all ages, kids’ crafts, a photo booth, raffles, caricature artists, food trucks, a book sale and various vendors.
