Caryl "Bernadine" Blasingim

Caryl “Bernadine” Blasingim, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Nov. 4, 2024 at the age of 92. She enjoyed being outdoors, relaxing in the hot tub, and sewing. She was a retiree of Chrysler. 

Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Martha (Jacobs) Conliss; her daughter, Deborah ( John) Rafferty; her brother, Edward  Bernard Conliss; and son-in-law, Larry Schmitz. She is survived by her children, Joyce Schmitz, Douglas (Debra) Blasingim, and Jamey (Veronica) Blasingim; 7 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. 

The family will receive guests on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm and on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo (419-473-0300). Burial will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
