Carmen Jaso
Carmen Jaso, 66, of Houston, TX died on April 5, 2022 at her home. She was born in Fremont on June 23, 1955 to the late Reynaldo and Josefina (Baez) Jaso.
She was a Gibsonburg High School graduate, and she went on to Terra Community College where she took secretarial classes. For many years she was a home health aide. She was known for her cooking, specializing in making tamales, mole, potato salad and her cookies and her many variety of pies. Everyone could count on entering her home with the inviting smell of her baking. Carmen enjoyed Tejano music, spending time with her family and her dog Hio, and dancing. Her favorite song was, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” by Frankie Valli.
She had three loving boys with Raul Rebollar: Raul Rebollar Jr., Rafael Rebollar and Reynaldo Rebollar all in Houston, grandkids: Anabel Rebollar, Abigail Rebollar, Brianna Lizzette Bolaños and BABY RULY the 3rd that’s on the way and Jasmine Elena Rebollar, also her great grandkids; Miguel Sanchez, Melissa Ariel Valladarez and Steven Valladarez Jr. that’s on the way and siblings; Reynaldo Jaso, Jr. who is deceased, Raul (Maria Alma) Jaso of Northwood, Rebecca (Alberto) Martinez of Houston, TX, Maria Elena (Andres) Zapata of Gibsonburg, Carolina Jaso of Millbury and Ustolia (Louie) Rook of Fremont.
Visitation will be held at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Michael Catholic Church, Gibsonburg on Tuesday, April 19th at 10:30 AM. Father Scott Woods will officiate, and burial will follow at Saint Michael and Saint Lawrence Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
