Calendar of Events: Fall Festival to feature parade, kids’ fun, music and much more

        The Northwood Fall Festival returns with a cornucopia of family-friendly autumn events Saturday, Oct. 12.
        The event kicks off with a parade on Woodville Road at 11 a.m. followed by events happening in Central Park, 6000 Wales Rd., from noon-6 p.m.
        This year’s highlights include:
        • 12:15 and 2:15 p.m.: Crazy Craig Juggling Show.
        • 1 p.m.: Music by DJ Ken.
        • 3:30 p.m.: Andrew Martin Magic Show.
        • 5-9 p.m.: Unanimous Decision performs.
        • 6 p.m.: Basket raffle drawing.
        Craft vendors will be set up from noon-5 p.m. There will also be food and beverages, a car show, a cornehole tournament, appearance by Spike the Walleye mascot and kids’ activities including kids’ bounce houses, laser tag, face painting, pumpkin painting, balloon animals, the fire department smoke trailer and more.
        Wrist bands, which get children access to the all Air Extreme Ohio LLC activities, NWO Mobile Maze and laser tag activities, pumpkin painting, face painting, balloon animals and more, are available for purchase in at a presale price of $10 (non-refundable) and for $15 on the day of the event.
