28th Annual Ottawa County Top Ten Banquet held April 17
Approximately 335 students, family members, teachers, administrators, honored guests and student volunteers attended the 28th Annual Ottawa County Top Ten Banquet held April 17 at Camp Perry Clubhouse in Port Clinton.
The event was sponsored by the Ottawa County Cabinet of Superintendents and North Point Educational Service Center.
The banquet honors the top 10 academic students from each school within Ottawa County. The student honorees, in turn, select and honor an educator who made a positive impact in their lives.
Local students who were recognized, along with their honored educators include:

Six $750 Earl J. Johnson Scholarship Awards were presented to the following students: Caitlyn Pipoly (Port Clinton), Amanda Tucholski (Genoa), Janessa Shortridge (Danbury), Xavier Gschwind (Oak Harbor), Makayla Throop (Woodmore), Maximilian Schneider (Put-in-Bay). James Rinaldo and Paul Lockwood, North Point Educational Service Center Governing Board members, along with North Point ESC Superintendent Andrea Smith, presented the awards.
