NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Woodville Township Trustees will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodville Township Fire Station, 321 East Main Street, Woodville, Ohio to discuss additions and changes to the Township Zoning Resolution as recommended by the Woodville Township Zoning Commission.

The agenda will include:

  • Recommended zoning requirements for the creation of flag lots.
  • Recommended addition to the Zoning Resolution to allow “Light Commercial” businesses as a permitted use in an Agriculture District.
  • And other minor clarifications to several sections of the resolution. These recommended changes will not change the substance of the resolution.

Information regarding these changes is available for public viewing at the Woodville Public Library, 101 East Main Street, Woodville.

Persons who desire to state objection or support for these proposed changes are encouraged to appear in person or by attorney at this meeting. Correspondence may be mailed to Woodville Township, P.O. Box 121, Woodville, Ohio 43469.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Education of the Gibsonburg Exempted Village School District, Sandusky & Wood Counties, Ohio adopted on  July 17, 2017, there will be submitted to a vote of the electors of said School District at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, the question of an additional 1% income tax on earned income of individuals of the school district, for the purpose of providing for current expenses for 5 years beginning January 1, 2019.

Th e polls for said election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and will remain open until 7:30 p.m. of said day.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to resolutions of the Green Springs Village Council, Sandusky & Seneca Counties, Ohio adopted on June 20, 2017, there will be submitted to a vote of the electors of said Village at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, the question of an additional tax for the purpose of providing for police protection at a rate not exceeding 6.7 mills each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.67 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2017, fi rst due in calendar year 2018.

Notice of Election on Tax Levy (Renewal) Sandusky Township Notice is hereby given that pursuant to resolutions of the Board of Trustees of Sandusky Township, Sandusky County, Ohio adopted on July 12, 2017, there will be submitted to a vote of the electors of said Township at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, the question of renewing an existing tax for the purpose of  providing for maintaining fi re services at a rate not  exceeding 1 mill each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2017, fi rst due in calendar year 2018.

Th e Jerusalem Township Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) will meet on Th ursday, November 2, 2017at 7:00PM at the Jerusalem Township Hall (9501 Jerusalem Road). Th e purpose is to hold a BZA Meeting for a variance request from Kristine Teff . Ms. Tefft would like to construct an accessory building on the property located at 425 S. Yondota, Parcel #3324177. A variance is being sought for the relief of Section 1601-1 which requires a minimum setback of fi ve (5’) feet from all lot lines.
