A lot of “ifs” are involved, but if Clay’s volleyball team evolves the way second-year coach Carrie Wagoner says it can this season, the Eagles will be a threat to compete at the state tournament in November.

Just as cars were being unloaded into the infield, heavy rains struck at Fremont Speedway, forcing the cancellation of the 305 sprint race on opening night of the 167th Sandusky County Fair.
Pit passes can be used at any upcoming event during the 2019 season at Fremont Speedway.

The 100th anniversary of the first football game between Genoa and Oak Harbor will be celebrated this year when the two schools meet on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. at Oak Harbor High School in the annual Celestial Bowl Trophy game.
