Lake girls track defended its team championship at the 15-team Gibsonburg Invitational, outscoring second place Swanton 106.7-94. The only team Lake can’t seem to beat in dual and tri-meets is Eastwood.

The Clay alumni baseball game will be Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m. at John Ousky Field at the City of Oregon’s William P. Coontz Recreation Complex on Seaman Road. All alumni are invited. All current Clay baseball players, freshmen, junior varsity and varsity players are encouraged to participate.

Delanie Notheis has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Lourdes University beginning in the fall of 2019, head coach Gil Guerrero has announced.
A native of Oregon, Notheis was a two-year letter winner at Clay High School.

Gibsonburg baseball has had seven straight winning seasons, and prospects are looking good for 15th-year coach Kyle Rase to add an eighth season. Rase’s all-time record is 209-148.
