For the second straight year, Lourdes University’s Nick Henneman (Clay) was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Year while Ray Porter (Strongsville) and Garrett Carter (Akron St. Vincent-Saint Mary) also garnered All-SAC honors as the league announced its postseason honors.

During the Division II state swim meet at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, the Oak Harbor 200 yard medley relay team of senior Erin Druyor, juniors Emily Haar and Elayna Krupp and sophomore Amelia Mizelle finished in eighth place with a time of 1:51.03.

The Northern Buckeye Conference was guaranteed to get a team into the Division III regional tournament.
Only, it wasn’t going to be league champion Otsego, runner-up Eastwood, or third place Woodmore. You can thank the Lake Flyers for that.
