The artwork of David Overholt will soon be gracing stations of 10 area fire departments.
The Walbridge resident last week began presenting paintings to members of fire stations as a way of saying thanks for their service and to commemorate Fire Prevention Month.

Friends of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge has been awarded a $43,840 grant to complete restoration work on the Fox Unit, a 40-acre property located across State Rt. 2 from the refuge visitor center.
