After our Venetian adventure, my fiancé Tyler and I hopped on a rail to Florence — the reason I so badly wanted to return to Italy. In 2016 I had studied abroad for a month in the summer in Florence, and the city has held a special place in my heart ever since.

The Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) exhibition, “Life Is a Highway: Art and American Car Culture” closes Sunday, Sept. 15. The final weekend will feature an artist talk and a car show featuring art and modified cars.

According to a new report, Metroparks Toledo generates tens of millions of dollars in economic benefits each year.
The report, prepared for Metroparks Toledo by economists at The Trust for Public Land, shows that the Metroparks are key economic drivers in Lucas County.
