Spending hour after hour in the weight room has certainly paid off for three local high school boys.

Northwood is planning to advertise, recruit and train members for the volunteer fire department, which is currently understaffed.

Romstadt, who was district fire chief of Station 2, was charged with domestic violence and assault last April. The court dismissed the domestic violence case against Romstadt on Sept. 13 last year. The court found Romstadt, who is the brother of Fire Chief Tim Romstadt, guilty of assault after he pled no contest to the charge on September 13.
