The Lake Township trustees Tuesday approved the renewal of contracts for emergency medical service and dispatching service for the police and fire departments.
Under the three-year contract with LifeStar, Lagrange Street, Toledo, which goes into effect April 1, the township will pay $70,000 annually for 24-hour paramedic service.
Oregon is working with the Lucas County Land Reutilization Corporation to rid neighborhoods of tax delinquent and bank foreclosed houses to reduce the risk of neighborhood blight and lower property values.
The land bank, a community improvement corporation, is designed to strengthen neighborhoods by returning vacant and abandoned properties to productive use.
Oregon City Council on Monday will consider hiring Poggemeyer Design Group for $39,640 to provide professional engineering services for the final design and bidding for the Stadium Road Bikeway Phase 2 project.
Besides Poggemeyer, the city received proposals from Bramhall Engineering and Surveying Co., Inc., LJB, Inc., Northwest Consultants, Inc., Proudfoot Associates Consulting Engineers, Shaffer Pomeroy Ltd., and Tetra Tech to provide engineering services for the project.
Ohio's mandatory boating law requires anyone born after 1/1/82 to have evidence of having successfully completed a boating education class. This applies to personal watercraft and supervisory person as well.
